One of the initial pieces of work identified by the Australian Education Senior Officials Committee (AESOC) as a priority for the Data Strategy Group (DSG) was to undertake a stocktake of existing data and reporting arrangements and existing priority work. The two stocktake reports provide a national picture of major education data collections and projects currently taking place.
The stocktake reports provide researchers, policy developers and education peak groups access to a central source of materials to help maximise the use of data to achieve in-depth analysis and well-grounded evidence.
